WHAT IS MEDICARE?
Congratulations! Soon you will be eligible for Medicare, Federal Government Insurance for seniors 65 and older, the disabled, those suffering from ALS or ESRD. Every citizen who earned income for at least ten years is entitled to Part A (hospital coverage), and it is premium-free because you have been paying for it through Social Security Tax. You can begin the enrollment process in Part B (outpatient coverage) 3 months before the month you turn 65, costing $170.10 monthly for most people.
